Start of the Stage: From Negreira to Zas
The stage of the Camino de Santiago begins in Negreira, where we head towards the Church of San Xián, built in the 18th century. From there, we exit through a staircase located on the side of the atrium, which leads us to a small street that ends in a path surrounded by eucalyptus trees.
Walking Towards Zas: Secondary Road and Villages
We reach the road to Zas, which we follow until we reach the town of Zas. We then turn onto a secondary road that takes us to the villages of Camiño Real, Rapote, and Piaxe, all of which are close to Zas. We continue along this path until we reach Portocamiño, and then proceed to Vilaserío and Mola.

From Bon Xesús, the Camino continues ascending towards the small hamlets of Gueima and Vilar de Castro, where we can enjoy the tranquility and direct contact with Galician nature.
Descent Towards Olveiroa: Last Points of Interest
The descent begins on dirt tracks, passing through Lago and Abeleiroas, until we reach Ponteolveira. From here, it’s just a short stretch until we reach the end of the stage at Olveiroa, which is located in the Concello of Dumbría.

Olveiroa, a large village, is a notable place for its artistic heritage, particularly in its religious buildings, such as the Church of Santiago. Additionally, the landscape here is breathtaking, offering beautiful views of the Embalse da Fervenza.
