Departure from Arzúa: Towards Raído and the Villages

From Arzúa, we follow the Rúa do Carmen, descending through orchards and meadows until we reach the oak forest of As Barrosas, which is left to the left. Next, we reach the N-547, where we move a few meters before leaving it to the left. We take a dirt path that ascends to Raído, across the river of the same name. After crossing, we return to the N-547, where we continue for about 400 meters before leaving the road again, taking a track that passes through several villages such as Cortobe, Pereiriña, Calzada, Calle, and Ferreiros. Finally, we arrive at Boavista, and upon leaving the village, a dirt track takes us 1.5 km to Salceda, on the edge of the N-547.

From Salceda to Brea: Forests and Trails

Upon leaving Salceda, we follow a path that leads to the N-547 and continue for a few meters. Then, we leave the road again to the left, entering a forest of pines and eucalyptus. We leave behind the villages of Xen and Ras, and reach Brea, where we cross the N-547. After half a kilometre, we exit the road again.

Santa Irene Junction and the Way to Arca

We continue along the N-547 for 1 km and, upon reaching the Santa Irene Junction, we divert to the right. Over a distance of about 700 meters, we cross the road again to enter Santa Irene, leaving the Santa Irene hostel to the right.

Arrival at O Pedrouzo: End of the Stage

After a brief exit, we cross the N-547 again near a sawmill, descend to Rua, and continue to Burgo. A kilometre later, just before the petrol station, we cross the N-547 once more and approach Arca. Finally, on an asphalted track, we ascend alongside the road until we reach O Pedrouzo, a village in the parish of Arca, which offers all the necessary services for pilgrims of the Camino de Santiago.
